Sukup Stiffend Bins
Adding stiffeners to a bin transfers vertical loads directly to the foundation, resulting in less stress on the sidewall sheets. This allows the use of lighter gauge sidewall sheets without sacrificing structural strength, making a stiffened bin more economical. Stiffened bins also provide excellent structural stability against grain, wind, and seismic forces.

Frac Sand Storage
Frac sand, also known as proppant, is used in hydraulic fracturing to prop open rock fractures and allow oil or gas to flow more freely. Due to the high demand for frac sand in the oil and gas industry, storage has become a critical aspect of the supply chain. Grain bins, traditionally used for storing grains and other agricultural products, have become an increasingly popular storage option for frac sand due to their durability, affordability, and versatility. Grain bins can be easily engineered to safely store the weight that frac sand will introduce to the bin. For frac sand storage Skyway offers smoothwall heavy duty tanks or Sukup galvanized heavy duty hopper tanks.
For smaller storage separations smoothwall hopper tanks are used with a range of 30 metric ton capacity to 380.
For larger storage separations the Sukup heavy duty Hooper tanks can be used up to 1000 metric ton capacity each.
